Overview
Technical record / 0033
The X-ray sCMOS 64 MP Detector from Photonic Science delivers the highest resolution in the sCMOS X-ray camera family. Four 16-megapixel sensors are tiled via fibre-optic coupling to create a large square active area with no dead zones, enabling full-field imaging of large samples in a single exposure.
A custom scintillator is directly deposited onto the fibre-optic faceplate, optimised for the energy range of interest (1 keV to 100 keV). The result is high sensitivity, low noise, and wide dynamic range — ideal for high-resolution radiography, non-destructive testing, and synchrotron beamline applications.
