The WidePIX CHROMATIC represents ADVACAM's largest-area detector platform, tiling multiple Timepix3 chips into a seamless large-field imager with up to 14 megapixel resolution. Each pixel independently measures the energy of incoming photons, enabling colour X-ray imaging — material discrimination and spectral analysis in a single exposure.
Variants include the CHROMATIC Industry (ruggedised for production environments), CHROMATIC SenseEdge (edge-computing enabled), and CHROMATIC 25 (optimised for 25 fps continuous imaging).
